Employee Committees

Rivermark Community Credit Union encourages our employees to get involved in the Credit Union and the community. Employee committees such as Community Affairs, Credit Unions for Kids and Governmental Affairs provide volunteer opportunities for our employees to demonstrate that they truly care and are passionate about who we are and what we do!

People Helping People

Credit unions exist to help people. This philosophy is evident in the many community activities and worthwhile causes that the Credit Union and our employees are involved in. We believe that the stronger our community is, the better life is. Every year we contribute volunteer time and money to a variety of community outreach and philanthropic programs in the Portland metro area.

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Great Strides Walk, Walk to Cure Diabetes, Oregon Food Bank and SMART (Start Making a Reader Today) are just a few of the ways that Rivermark Community Credit Union and its employees give back to the community. We also raise funds for pediatric hospitals in our area through “Dough for Doernbecher” (a partnership with the Safeway bread plant to produce, bag and sell over 2,000 pounds of holiday cookie dough).

Our enthusiasm for community involvement has resulted in the receipt of multiple Dora Maxwell Awards for Social Responsibility in Oregon! This award is presented by the Credit Union National Association for the outstanding social responsibility projects implemented within the credit union’s community.
